I just got done reading Stop Stealing Dreams by Seth Godin. Admittedly, I’m a little late to the party as this free ebook is gaining tens of thousands of new readers every day, and is creating a huge stir.
If you haven’t yet encountered this book, I highly recommend it. It’s a timely, vital, and scathing critique of the “industrial” school system. Of course, it’s easy to take pot-shots at the public school system and colleges of our country. There’s so much to criticize. But Godin doesn’t stop there. He stares bravely into the future, offering encouragement to teachers, suggestions for administrators, and a call to action for parents.
Go ahead; see what all the fuss is about. Click here to download the book, and prepare to be changed.
