At some point you have to engage the problem. Roll up your sleeves and get to work. It’s valuable to circle around the issue; taking a few laps to see the problem from all the necessary angles.
And then this circling activity crosses the line and becomes “analysis paralysis.” You’ve heard of “talking in circles?” We’re experts at it.
Only when we move from the fringe to the middle of the action do the real blessings come and real progress is made. The old saying, “Nothing ventured, nothing gained?” It’s true.
You know what I’m talking about. You know what you need to do.
Make that tough phone call. Have that awkward conversation. Write that letter of apology. Forgive that hurt. Take that once-in-a-lifetime chance. Come clean about your actions.
Stop rationalizing. Stop circling.
You’ve analyzed the heck out of the problem. Time to leave the fringe.
